I like the movie eventhough it has its few mistakes...but should that stop you from loving the movie...NO WAY! Every movie has its mistakes

Excuse me while I correct myself...

I LOVE THE MOVIE!!! its not only a movie...but there's also lessons involved...

no matter how tough the situation is...no matter what happens...everything turns out well at the end...

don't always go for the pleasure as your one option (pleasure is pain)...

I hope I'm making sense...does anyone else see other lessons involved in the movie? or any type of re-wording to what i have just posted?

I like the Warriors because of the deep social conflictions and timely representation of an unexplored era.

i luved it!!!

a modern-day classic-i remember seeing the film back in 1979 (when i was a fresh faced 15 year old) and its had an impact on me ever since. i mean who can forget ajax's one-liners (my only gripe is they got rid of him too early in the film). its laughable when you get these so called "film buffs" comparing the warriors with the wanderers-forget it theres no competition.

the movie was great i love that movie i think its a one of a kind i showed me to stay tuff 

I believe that this film as a sentimental value that we can all relate to.  It leaves a warm and fuzzy feeling, of watching the underdogs make it make to their home.  turf.  Theres something about these characters that we all relate to.  In a world that seems to be in decay, it makes you realize that there are people out there who have your back, and give you the hope that theres something better out there.  Just like the song says at the of the movie. The connection between the have and the have not's, makes you want to better yourselves in no matter what you do.  So no  how low you feel your life is, theres something out there that make you prove yourselves, and strive to be the best at what you can do. This is why I love this movie. It gives the philosophical feeling of reaching the light.

I think the film has shown it's greatness by it's longevity.  There aren't many movies from 1979 that achieve the attention The Warriors has.  A video game and action figures 26 years after it's release.  It brings back a part of my childhood that is long gone.  I can relive it by collecting figures!  My wife thinks I'm nuts...maybe she's right  :badgrin:

I remember going to see the film in the theatre when I was 11 years old and the impact it made on me was tremendous.

I am sure it left a big impact on you.  Wow the feeling of this movie in 1979. You are very fortunate.  Although some people may have saw the recent screening of the warriors on big screen, it still does not compare to what the people went through in 79. I guess I will never know lol.
