When did you first see The Warriors?

I caught the movie by accident on a Saturday afternoon in 1984 when I was 10. I was bored and put on the TV. I think it was FOX 5 NY that I saw it on. The subway scene with all the different gangs fascinated me. The conclave scene was really crazy to me as a kid with all the gangs meeting together. When Cyrus told them they outnumbered the cops, I thought that was crazy as a kid. No one else heard of the movie when I would talk about in school. Years later when I went to high school, I finally met a person who saw it. I would have never imagined the film getting as much popularity years after it's release.
