Hey there. 

So I was just thinking, if you could change something about the film, what would it be? And I mean like a small part; maybe Vermin getting thrown in front of the train instead of Fox... or The Warriors encountering someone like the Satan's Mothers in the subway station instead of The Punks. The storyline would still be the same in the film, but you would get to see a certain gang instead of another - you're not changing anything relating to the actual story, but just what is happening in it.

And I know the film is good as it is, but I hope this generates a bit of discussion.  8)

more of the Electric Eliminators

I think it would be cool to replace the Punks with the Hi-Hats! They played such a big role in the game, but unless you've played it, or seen the theatrical trailer, you wouldn't even know their names!

In the beginning, Cleon is counseling the chosen 8, and says:

"I know that a lot of you aren't too happy about going out on patrol. Just just remember this, out of a street family of 120, plus affiliates, you were chosen for this expedition."

Now, this movie didn't have the budget (and 1979 certainly didn't have the CGI!), but could you imagine how cinematically stunning 100+ guys all in matching vests would have looked on-screen?

I would have liked to have seen a contingent of Warriors waiting for the guys at the platform at Stillwell Avenue ready to back them up. I always thought that the Warriors who remained back at Coney would have received word that every gang in the city was after their mates and would do whatever it took to help them out even it that meant taking on the Riffs.

I would have liked to have seen a bit more of other gangs, and when they are heading to the meeting, coming across a gang on the way.

I would have liked to see a couple more fight scenes like them fighting the orphans... and running into a couple more gangs... also i would have liked to see more than just the famous 9 warriors....
