the destroyers

[shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300][/glow][/shadow]y were the destroyers mentioned in the game but then not mentioned in the movie???????

The Destroyers is a "fictitious" Gang by Rock* for the Game.
But remember, our "Reference Point" is The Movie and Only The Movie, I mean, all of us shouldn't care about the Destroyers.
Plus, I don't rem now.. but yeah... The Destroyers is not in the Book.

remember the film is nearly 30 years old, and the game is about nearly 3 years old

Dont know about the destroyers, but i've seen the movie & will read the book soon. First seen the movie 20 odd years ago and like to rewatch it regularly. Looking forward to the book but hear it's nowt like the movie. The movie is awsome probably my all time favourite & i'm digging the site i've just joined, enjoyed watching the extra scenes i'd never seen before. I've had a wee shot of the game a while back & recognised some stuff on the extra scenes from the game. Anyway ,when we get there that's when we've made it!

if you havnt played on the game then you woudlnt know who they are, its been out about 3 years but still fun game to play,

Rockstar Games created The Destroyers to build up the backstory and show how The Warriors were formed. As far as I know they're not mentioned in the book.

thanks for clearing that up, even though me and theswan already did lol. they are a fictionous gang created by rockstar to create a backstory to how the warriors formed in rockstars point of view (in the game)
im sure someone already said that hmmm

The Destroyers are a very weak gang however they presented a pretty cool storyline for the game.

I agree with you. Thats the good point. But I wouldn't say Destroyers are a very weak gang. They got heavy rep in the game though.

tHOUGHT the destoyers were in the book but Actually i have started to read the book about halfway thru,and the main gang are the Long iSLAND Dominators,warriors are just a term for different armies or gangs,the book has Lunkface very similar to Ajax,Arnold=cleon,Ismael=cyrus(no can u dig it's though) and Hector is sort of like Swan, they use terms like Papa,brother,and uncle instead of war chief,scout and what have you.You should read the book ,it is quite different from the movie,it is alot darker and meaner but no ways better then the movie,,just got to the part similar to the Orphans but they have a Mexican gang name,the destroyers are nasty and much more criminal(rape,murder)then the Warriors.I loved the movie and will finish the book shortly but all signs say the movie was better.i also own the game and think that it is the best game ever based on a movie,who doesn't want to play along as a Warrior.,hope this helps

cool post, but we already knew lol, destroyers are in the game thats final, the book and the movie are way older than the game and i mean 30 years, nt sure when the book came out but the movie was 1979 the game was 2005,
