Hey Boppers!

New to the Forum, but not the Warriors! I ran the movie when it was released, at the Ohio Theatre in Sandusky, Ohio USA. I remember there were a lot of rumbles around the country when the movie was released. We actually had a cop in the lobby, but there was never any trouble.

He probably saw some of it. We had it for 2 weeks. I was upstairs in the projection booth, but I didn't see any trouble. There was a lot of stuff in the papers about how the movie was going to promote gang violence and wars. Seems kind of silly now! It was just a movie. (Well, a REALLY GREAT movie)

Welcome to the forum   I remember all the hype about gang violence that was going erupt at theaters when the movie came out. I think some incedents occured at big city theaters somewhere. If and when they do a remake I bet there will some fights at theaters today  Anyways thats a cool avatar.

Thanks for the compliment! It is the only picture of the old Ohio Theatre that I have. The movies listed had all the right letters to allow me to Photoshop it into "The Warriors".  Can you dig it?
