I have to agree with this post.  The warriors for some reason seems to hold an inner meaning that pertains to everyone.  As simple as this movie may be, I always thought that it had some essence or aura to it, that described something that was much more bigger, and complex than life.  Its hard to pinpoint on it, but it has this feeling that leaves you contemplating on life, and the road that you are taking in it.  Some how, I understand what Tantive means when he says "I jump the turnstiles, I am the warriors etc", because whoever you are, and whatever path you take in life, there seems to be a connection with the warriors.  People may not see what I see, or feel what I feel, but I personallt believe tere are little metaphors in the film, that helps describe "Ones persona".  To some this may just be a little entertainment, on gangs, but to others, it has an overpowering meaning to it, that goes beyond words.  Its describes ones own life style.

The reason I love the warriors, isn't just beacuase of all the action and the storyline it has. It has great morals to it that we can all stick to. The main moral is never give up. The warriors faught through, The turnbulls, Orphans,furies,Lizzies,Punks,The Cops, and the rogues just to get home and they never gave up

There are other morals like there's a time and place for everything, Ajax decided he'd how he says"have a little excersise" and he ends up getting arrested if he's listened and chosen not to do it as it wasn't the time or the place for that to happen, i was obvious he wouldn't get arrested.

And then there's the rule of Karma what goes around comes around
Luther blames the whole cyrus thing on The Warriors, but someone else saw him, he gets ratted out and after getting stabbed in the arm although we didn't see it he would of been wasted.


It's not just the orals though. I felt when I first saw it that I just wanted them to get home, of coarseI dodn't know that Luther was going to get caught but I really felt that it was actually real. I knew it wasn't but it seemed that way the first time I saw it.
