Probably stayed together for a while,I dont think Mercy was in any real hurry to go back home.
Swan seemed like a pretty solid dude and probably lightened up to her after a while,but seems like Mercy may have been a little too messed up possibly for them to handel each other if they were planning on being together as a couple.
Probably went a little schizo when they're was some down time.
Or maybe they got it together,worked they're way out and left it all behind them.

I can't help but wonder if Swan and Mercy remained a couple afterwards? Maybe they moved away, Swan put his colors away in the closet, got a job in a factory, they got married, had kids and lived happily ever after. By the way I realize this is just speculation on my part and I did search for this topic and found no previous posts on this subject...

I know this is an old post, but I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I didn't answer it. If you couldn't tell by my handle, these two are my favorites. The hopeless romantic in me says 'yes'.

they probably stayed in Coney Island. Swan probably had brothers and sisters he had to look after, more than likely came from a single parent home, and his mother was probably on assistance and that's why he grew up poor in Coney, only he had more smarts and intellectual smarts than the other guys.
I actually had a cool Fanzine story that I never wrote but thought of, that Swan and his family were living in a homeless shelter and then the city helped them get a rundown apt in Coney, but unlike the other Warriors, he didn't drop out of high school, he finished and was trying to get some kind education to get out of there.

I think it went down like this. Swan and mercy got togther,swan tells her to clean up her act if she wants to be with him. Swan ends up manhandling her for the three months they are togther,then ajax gets out of jail and wanting revenge on swan for not making him warchief gets mercy alone and lays some pipe on her. Swan upon hearing this goes nuts and goes after ajax. Ajax beats swan within an inch of his life and rips his colors off. And tells all the other warriors ,now I'm warchief.
