Re: David Harris (Cochise) Participating in a Phone Intervie
question for David Harris
"Hey Dave, did you ever get the chance to save something from The Warriors like the vest or headdress or anything from you charactor Cochise"?
#2.. "if you were going to make a so called "remake" of the Warriors, how would you approach this? would you make something modern or would you go back to the roots of the original novel by Sol Yurick?
i always thought it would be unique if you set the new Warriors in the 50s or early 60s a sort of prequel, like the Warriors beginning..which would give the Warriors 1979 a little history."
thanks dave, a true fan JOE BARBARISI
Hope to see you again on the bigscreen!!
it was great meeting you a few times in the past couple years, you were very kind to me and my wife

Re: David Harris (Cochise) Participating in a Phone Intervie
I really appreciate the hook up. If this is true, I wonder what I would ask :-k
1. Does your family, or people on the street ever stop you, and talk about the warriors?
2. Being that you were the last to be cast, did you feel an obligation to have your character (Cochise) stand out more? Which he did by the way.
3. Do you ever watch a scenefrom the warriors ounce in a while and remenisce about it?
4.How did you prepare for the role of Cochise?, if so how?
5. Do you stay in contact with any of the other cast members?

Re: David Harris (Cochise) Participating in a Phone Intervie
question for David Harris: Where in Manhattan did you film the scene where you, and the other two warriors, Rembrandt and Vermin are seen walking in the rain to the Lizzies hangout. To me it looks a lot like the Gramery Park area downtown, could you confirm this?

Re: David Harris (Cochise) Participating in a Phone Intervie
hey David,
just found a DVD ive been searching for 1980's "Brubaker" with Robert Redford where you play one of the abused inmates.
you were very convincing in this film, just wish you had a bigger part. seems like the filmaker cut out some of your scenes with some of your dialog, but you had a memorable part.
can you reflect a little on your experiences on the set of "Brubaker"
