Cleon feeling a bit rambo

Post by Ancient_Breed »

I did search if this topic was allready made so forgive if i was wrong.
I find it strange how cleon went to check on cyrus' body after the shot. I also found it weird how the riffs were allright with him standing there, it looked kind of offlimits hence the barricade i thought that they'd prolly be on edge with everyone. It's not as if they were friends???

Any thoughts?

yeah i know what you mean, maybe he went to pay his respects or something, he had a look of disapointment on his face when he lookeds at the body, maybe he was going to tell the riffs that the warriors would help find the killer and get some kinda pull with the riffs if they helped after he examined the body?

He was paying his respects

Cyrus was as rembrandt said "The One and only"
He made magic with that speech and luther shoots him down in cold blood(being the madman he is)
Cleon went to pay his respects and probably finmd out who did it but then it all goes wrong at this point as we all know.

I have always asked myself this question.....what could he do about it?  Another thing is how is was easy for him to just go through the guards protectin the rails.

Well whatever the case is it's STILL weird how the guards werent being guards lol. Cyrus was the president of the biggest gang in nyc right? Well if any american president got shot down his bodyguards/swat police wouldnt let some commoner just hop over the guard rails to go chek him.

I see what you mean because I thought the exact same thing but I guess he went to check if he was dead and I'm also surprised that he walked past one of the Riffs telling them to "move" which shows some disrespect towards the Riffs.

I think it was just kinda necessary for the story. Cleon had to get bopped.  And havng him go to Cyrus' body was the only way.  Otherwise, Luther would have had a tough time blaming the shooting on the warriors.

the greatest movie ever shouldnt be over analyzed its just part of the film its like saying why didnt they all just steal a car in the first place to get home instead of staying on the streets or take their vests off because lets face it in real life anybody would if every gang in the city is looking for u
