I think they would be more focused on trying to get back home before they got wasted than thinking about food or drink

I'd also like to add that, this is just what happened that Night... I mean, someone thinks they maybe and somehow "recharged their batteries", but to me, they didn't just eat or drink anything!!! (Maybe and I quote MAYBE Cochise and Vermin did... 100% NOT Rembrandt!!!)---

When they got on the train in Coney, if you look carefully, you can see Cochise chewing on something, probably gum.  Gum's not food, so that doesn't count.

Think about it, would you really stop to have a McDonalds while all these gangs are out for your kneck, would you even think about food or drink? Your Warlord is missing, your 27 miles behind enemy lines, your fighting for your life, I don't think food and drink was an issue at this point in time. I do see were your coming from but I just think that there was no time to stop for food or drink, or it wouldn't even cross there minds.

I'm with ya on that.  Once that adrenaline takes over, you're not thinking about that new sandwich they just came out with, or that super-saver meal, besides, try running for your life on a full stomach!

Now I know that the Warriors are running for their lives throughout the night and the length and time constraints of a movie doesn't allow for everything to be shown, but has anyone else noticed that except for the guys that go with the Lizzies and have a beer or two the Warriors don't eat or drink anything throughout the night? Now I didn't expect them to stop at a steak house and wine and dine while every gang in the city is out to beat the crap out of them, but it just appears to me that they might have gotten a little thirsty from doing all that running. By the way I did search this and found no previous posts on this subject.

well maybe the did but it had nothing to do with the storyline

Their book counterparts, while on the train, ate chocolate bars that they had been carrying all night.  Maybe the movie charecters did the same.

No food or drink cause the movie was just too fast paced, and the writers couldn't waste even a few secs. of screen time with food in it.

and how are they going to claim they are "turnin' faggot" with a big old hot dog being shoved in their mouths?

Alright, I guess I should have left the eating part out because obviously it wasn't practical, but I personally would have gotten a little thirsty after all of that running and fighting......some water or maybe even a Gatorade would have been nice. Also, I forgot about the guys that went with the Lizzies and had a few beers before things went ballistic.
