MOD Note - I've split this topic off from Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop into its own thread

The Swan vest and the Tremonti owned cochise vest are the ones that look near identical to each other.
Looking on the close up of the swan warbird patch, the horizontal rows of stitching on the skull are clearly visible.
The patch set on this recent "cochese" vest looks a closer match to the rembrandt repro patches that were copied from the original drawings that came with it. They also don't match the production crew jacket which have the patch set sewn on.

My 2 cents: The vest is genuine but the patches are from a later time period. Someone has done the same as golden closet and had them professionally made.

You mention here about a "production crew jacket", where did you see that?

I wonder how many production crew jackets were made and how many still exist? Those orange jackets had the same patches on the back.

Once again, where have you seen these?

As we discussed on this thread:

http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=12058&hilit=#p125673

...I don't believe there ever were "crew jackets"

Why do you say this?

I contacted a place to see what their ORANGE SATIN JACKET looks like and how much it costs. I think we could replicate the "crew" jacket very easily. It was an ORANGE satin jacket (cuffs etc all orange) with the ROCKER and WAR-BIRD on back. Anyone know what was on the front? I don't remember there being a pic of the front. The original pic is gone. If anyone still has it, can you please re-post it?

There's nothing on the front.

I think he might be talking about me!

I don't think the crew jackets were real either, i can't see any of the crew wearing them in any pics.

Oh, they're real alright!

Yeah, those pics you sent really give us an awesome view. And when you compare both examples (those from the one presently on ebay and those from Profiles in History's Dec. 2010 Auction where it sold for $6,000) they are definately one and the same vest. You cannot have distress exactly in the same areas on the patches unless the patches are pre-fabricated with the distress already on them. So it would seem we have the exact same piece of wardrobe making its appearance yet again.
I think this is what is bewildering and confusing many of us into thinking "just how many original Cochise vests can there be". There most probably is not many at all, (maybe two or so) it's just that one keeps getting re-sold in auction every so often. If anyone can reference photo's from it's original sale in Profiles auction back in '06 where it garnered a heavy dollar amount, approx. $15,000, perhaps we can match it to this same vest showing up in Dec 2010 Profiles auction and now on ebay. Also in Profiles in History Auction 25 it sold for $10,000. So we may have the exact same vest popping up for sale on four different ocassions. PS: Also just had seen that Platos AKA: Rembrandts vest is now sold at The Golden Closet. I wonder if we'll now be seeing Rembrandts vest doing a few auction circuit loops in the future years, (smirk). These pieces are so rare I begin to wonder if there are any true fans holding onto the limited original Warriors wardrobe that ever comes up, as they seem to just rotate back into auctions within a year or so.

Oh, I've got one of those.

@ Bobbie Mannix: The Orange crew jacket was up for sale on ebay last year. The same seller also had cochise's pants, boots and belt. The latter 3 ended up on one of the auction sites (golden closet?). Don't know what happened to the jacket. There was no bids on ebay, so it either sold privatly or the seller still has it.

Ready for the big reveal??? That was lil ole me :) The jacket's in my wardrobe. Do you happen to know how much the Cochise ensemble sold for on Golden Closet? I never did check in the end.

I have no doubt that there's AN orange jacket in your closet

I, RESPECTFULLY, dispute its authenticity, is all...

It's only listed as sold. It doesn't state what price they sold for (at least not what I can see).
Feel sorry for whoever paid high bucks for the belt, being that it's NOT a 1 off and you can purchase identical vintage brass buckles off ebay for under $10.

BOBBI, all you do is post "I have this" & "I have that.", but all we have seen is production photos. Post pics of YOU holding or wearing the jacket.
