Good eye wargod, did not see that upon first look. I got out my Warriors dvd gonna see if it might be the vest of a different Warrior or just a complete fake.

Ive seen this vest before. I don't think its a fake but I do believe its NOT movie worn. This vest used to be in the costume section of this site years ago. There was a shot of the inside with the Eastgate logo and "swan" written in marker pen. I think this was a prototype after the cast had been measured by the costume makers. The patches of various gangs in the movie were low quality compared to the replicas we own. They were made by cutting up shapes of felt and other sheets of material and then sewn together with a bit of embossed embroidery. The costumes were all done on the cheap.
Look in my post with all the vests together; specifically the top right one. I'm sure this is that vest.

The pockets are practically touching the sides of the vest, which is correct. The colour is spot on. The piping has the 2 dots between the diamonds, but smaller than the A1 vests which answers one of Lier Ones questions. You can see the slight colour difference in the diamonds as well (which answers another question).
I know each cast member had sevral vests. Matt Beckoff told me David still has 2 in his possesion and I know of a third that was sold via golden closet.
The attention to detail is too much to be a fake.

just got done looking through the entire dvd, the best scene to see everyones vest from the back is at the beginning of the movie when they are all boarding the subway (rembrandts is slightly covered up by a strap). After looking at this scene the only vest that looks similar to the one for sale is Foxs. Heres a screengrab comparison.

ive heard a lot of people say that the warbird skull is too narrow on some on the reproduction vests. however, judging by the movie screenshot on this thread it seems as the the warbird skull is as narrow as the reproduction vests. does anyone agree?

I just finished reading this, and I can tell you with The utmost confidence,That this is [glow=red,2,300]NOT!!!![/glow] Swan's Vest from The Movie,
But some cheap Knock-off..And here is my Proof..
During The Conclave "09" I had asked Michael Beck,If he still has The Vest he had from The Movie, and I will tell you what he said,"He said,That He gave the vest to"Larry Gordon,The Producer, and Larry than gave it to his son," "And Michael Beck, even wanted to buy it back", "When The popularity of The Warriors Grew" But Larry, would not part with it,because of The sentimental Value,So He Has The Original Vest,This is the story that he told me,Michael Beck, than said to me,That the only thing he,has That was Swan's,was his Belt, which he gave to his son.. So When I see that vest, going for $5000 That is such a rip-off" Anyone who buy's that,is a new fool..Trust me when I tell you,this..Because I heard it from The Man himself.. besides,Your saying it's Swan's vest, now Fox's Vest..If you cannot make up a lie for this crap Vest, why even post it..
FOR THE RECORD,THIS IS NOT SWAN'S VEST!!! IT'S A CHEAP RIPOFF!!!
Larry Gordon,The Producer has The Original Swan Vest!!!
Look at that cheap white stitching coming off,the name..$5000,that thing ain't even worth a penny.

Thanks for the info Tantive7, but for the record I never stated this was Swans vest or Foxs vest, at this point in time I am actually trying to get this vest removed from the Profiles auction as it is clearly not Swans vest, also if anyone thinks that the patches are fake but the vest is real take a look at this comparison especially around the neck, the diamonds on the auction vest are much bigger and the seam on the vest does not line up the same.

It's all Good Brother

I just don't want to see anyone get rip-off
Looking at your comparison,The "S" looks way to close compare to The picture from the movie..
Funny for the same $5000,they could have done a better job, fixing The margins between The "R" and the "S" 8)

The diamonds are large around the neck of this cochise vest as well
http://www.thegoldencloset.com/merchant/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=D0153
Larry Gordon has
A swans vest. Like I said in the post above, there was more than one vest for each character. Larry will have the one from the final days of shooting.
Bearing in mind that these were made in Korea in the 70's, I don't expect the construction standard of the vest to be high.
Ive seen the inside of this vest and it has the Eastgate patch.
Heres someone that says a friend gave him one of cochise's vests...

Well sorry for the confusion with the subject line. I had not done any research on the vest before I posted. I have emailed Profiles about this vest not being Swans and hopefully will get a response soon.
