Imitation jacket on ebay. Not as good quality as a watkins but decent for a starter.

I bought that cheap watkins jacket. Got it for £12. Its a chevrolet version (front badge) and has red banding corvette on the arm and a thinner blue stripe. The black inner is in good condition but the silver has a helluva lot of scuffs and a few patches of yellowing. It needs a serious dose of febreeze. Think i'm gonna have to store it in the garage so it doesnt stink my wardrobe out.
I'll post pictures once i've transfered them off my phone.

Its roughly the same size as that previous silver jacket I have, so i'm tempted to take the watkins jacket to peices and apply the lining, cuffs, zip pull and patches to the better condition jacket.

Any news from Satansmothers09 regarding patches? I know he has that size xl watkins jacket.

I'm guessing he/she was gonna wait 90 days till no one can see how much they paid for the jacket, then put it up for sale for a ridiculous price.

SM09 paid $100 (not including postage) for that xl watkins jacket. It didn't sell at its original price and was relisted for a few hours with a cheaper buy it now price before SM snapped it up.

As promised, a few shots of my recently purchased Watkins jacket. Got a bit of work to do before it becomes an accurate(ish) replica.

@ Lier one: Did you have any trouble removing the name bar on the arm? Mine is sewn into the collar. The only way I can do it without unstitching the collar is to cut the patch and hope I dont slice into the jacket by accident.

Removing it was easy up until the collar. I did cut mine across at the base of the collar. It is so close to the collar that you cannot see it. I will take pics later. I also colored the BLUE stripe BLACK, to match the screen worn jacket.

I've used scissors to remove it. I'm going to try nail clippers to get the little bits left over under the collar, then dab a bit of silver paint on anything thats still visible.

How do you put a patch on your clothes? I have a black old school vest and it looks very cool so I would like to buy or make (if it's possible) a patch. I know that this topic is not for this what I am asking but I saw this Watkins jacket and Moonrunners logo on it. Do you even know if I could make a patch, if it's possible, of course? And how to put it on leather vest?
