This is what it looks like (it's a scan and they suck). It is distressed a little. They can "finish" it (distress etc) after construction:

You see, Russia; that wasn't a ufo flying over Moscow; it was Lier One's leather sample.

Can anyone give me an idea of the measurements based on vests you already own? Please help.

i think its best if you have a tailor measure you for a slim fitting vest and combine that with measurements for the vest (i.e the upper back so that rocker fits, the bottom front so that its longer as 9th points out). i believe my size large is 23 inches in the back from top to bottom, and 23 inches from armpit to armpit. shoot for tight fitting armholes

Thanks, again, I am NOT going to wear it, just display. I just wanted some idea as to what the measurements might be.

but i still think if you want it to be accurate the right slim cut will reflect that

you will have the right shade of leather, the right patches made from the right material but then a mishaped vest

Look how slim the mid section is on this cochise vest, compared to the A1's.  You can see the front flaps hang lower on this as well.

The measurements above from tri are not enough (you have to hold the factory's hand with this) and they seem to think the vest is a square. Does anyone have full all around (armpit, length, width etc) for the vest? Also does anyone know what buttons they used?

OK, this is the measurements for a mark 2 vest.  Due to it having curved edges, the measurments are not precise, only rough.  This is in inches.

Its not much difference from the Satans Mothers denim vest.

I would reduce the width and increase the length of the front so it hangs lower.

if you were going to wear it, since yer having it custom made, i would also take into account your specific measurements, especially around the shoulders
