Re: Electric Eliminators
looks very tidy indeed...
Re: Electric Eliminators
Hey, I noticed one thing!
Look at this pic, you can see that one of the logo got the bolt also insdide the mouth, and the other finish on the teeth... so they were not identical.

And if you look close to the movie shot, you can see that the dude on the left gots the logo with the bolt in the mouth, and the dude on the right gots the one with the bolt that ends on the teeth..

Re: Electric Eliminators
I noticed that when i was making mine...the cracks are different too
Re: Electric Eliminators
While they might have different "cracks", they do have the finished teeth. The first patch is closer to the flash, so you cannot see the teeth, but look close they are there.

Re: Electric Eliminators
Yeah, they got teeth too, we can clearly see them on the other skull.

any time NC!!
Re: Electric Eliminators
Just finished mod-ing my EE jacket. I know it is still not 100% accurate, but I am very happy with it. Below, I put progress:
1st is how the lightning bolt looked before (thanks to ILLER for the pics since I couldn't find my before pics:

I couldn't find the gold glitter thread any where, so I gave up, so I sewed in the lightning bolts with gold thread then added gold glitter. Whoever (I know ILLER is) is going to use the glitter thread, it will come out MUCH better. I was impatient

Then I painted the skull in white and added the cracks. I didn't like the color of the original skull:

Finished product, going in a frame for display:

It looks good I think, I would like to know what you guys think

What can I say mate, you're an artist! The patch looks great! Now I know who I'm gonna ask if I want to do some work on my patch.

Re: Electric Eliminators
The skull looks really effective.
What did you do to the lettering? Did you use paint or did you stitch over it with gold thread? The letters look larger and the O has been changed to its movie accurate appearence.
Seal it behind glass asap because you'll be finding glitter everywhere for the next few weeks.
I dig seeing these customised items.

Re: Electric Eliminators
superb work...bravo
Re: Electric Eliminators
Thanks. I didn't do anything to the letters, but when sewing in the lightning bolt with the gold thread, it pulled the patch, so that might have altered the letters. Glad it altered it for the good. 9th I am already finding glitter everywhere.
