The early shah meeran vest were not far off the proper colour; they verged more towards a brown shade than orange.  The "rembrandt" vest in the top left corner looks a close match.

Notice how when these screen worn vests are laid flat, the bottom lapels (is that the correct term?) are longer and a steeper angle than the ebay replica vests.

Ninth, I think either one of the top two would be good. I just need the vest without everything else. My SM vest does the same thing as the screen worn vests, the bottom two points stick out. There has been so many versions, and you seem to have them all (lol) which is the closest and where can I get just a vest. It's killing me!!

Not too shabby, but I think the seam on the back is incorrect. Right color tho. I think. Sh** I don't know any more. I'm thinking of getting this one:

Image won't show for me for some reason (i've got other programs running that sometimes affects picture downloads).  Going by the description, its wide enough for the rocker but will be too small for you to wear.  Its 5 inches shorter than the shah meeran vests.  Won't be a problem if your going to keep it in a frame mount.

NOT looking to wear this. Would be a display piece like my other costumes. So the size doesn't matter. I don't know what the back should be. Any of you experts know if the patches will fit on this one??

This ones a little bigger, but has funky pockets and a belt in the back. http://cgi.ebay.com/vtg-80s-URU-SWEATER ... 19b7b59469

I was looking at this one, but I don't like the pockets and removing the belt will be hard

I'm no expert but the MEASUREMENTS:

CHEST: (armpit to armpit across the front) 19.5"

SHOULDERS: (across the back) 15"

LENGTH: (down the center of the back) 20.5"

- So the Warbird should fit no prob, usually they are about 12 inches.  It depends on the length of your rocker and the width of your piping.  You have about 15 inches to work with. So the Rocker is about 12 inches and if your piping is like 1 inch x 2, than you will be ok, and have like 1/2 space on both sides.  (I made a mistake on my first vest and the rocker got sewn over the piping, on my second vest I used a smaller rocker.)

2 days left to bid, good luck!

Thanks, haven't gotten my CANVAS rocker in yet (I will have extras if anyone wants) so i have to wait to measure that. Also, I have to go home and measure my WARBIRD to see the complete size. The piping should be fine. Thank you tho.

Including the black border, the common mark 2 shah meeran warbird is 11 inch.  The ccWizard is slightly longer.  The shortest point of the shoulders on my vests is 14 inch, so you should have plenty of space.

Being that your going to put the vest in a frame, getting the pockets right isn't a major problem as you'll never see them.  You just have to make sure your vest is a one seam back.

Yea, I know you will never see the front, but if I am going through the trouble of making a vest (and trying for the most screen acurate I can get), I want the front to be as close as possible. I hear ya tho.
