Told ya you can pick them up cheap.  Silver jackets arnt in fashion at the mo (at least not round these parts) so they're being off-loaded quite cheaply.  Theres usually more womens jackets than mens for sale.  This is why I suggested just doing the patch on its own to test the waters, so to speak.

The Nike looks close, but it had RED in it. The first one looks good , but we do not know what the backs look like. Other one, ehhhh.

Yes, they are cheap I agree.  Let's look @ just do patches first:
1) A patch would run about $30(really cheaply made)-$60.  Then, you buy lets say one of these jackets for $10 (shipping here to the US for us US fans will be $$). Plus to add the black aspects to the jacket, armband, change ends of sleeves that adds. Then to have someone sew the patch to the jacket costs some $$. Add it all together and if you are not at or past $100, you are close to it. i think I am going to stay with the ebay seller and wait until he finishes. It is a lot easier. Plus time is money and the time would be a little large too.

Few pointers (I am too working on one should post it this weekend)

1) Nose a little rounder
2) Smile is perfect, but should be rounded
3) Star a little bigger
4) Knife looks to go through the middle of the star
5) I like the MOONRUNNERS letters, just should be bigger and WHITE

I think you almost nailed it Chris. Good work!

Hey NINTH there is a shot of a MOONRUNNER going over the wall past Rembrant when he is being pushed around. Can you get that screen cap? Maybe that has a better view.

Already have. Lier.  The scene where the moonrunner is climbing the wall is on the top row of the collated screen grabs on page 1.  The dark bit in the bottom right corner of the picture in the top right corner, is Rembrandts hair.  Those are the only 2 scenes I know of that the patch is in view.  I don't know how much a blue ray grab would help, being that its an old film.  Not that I have a blue ray, but if anyone out theres does, is there any improvement?

Thought they might be, but wanted to make sure. Just watched the beg of the movie again and there are only three scenes where you see the jacket at all.

1) Going through the turnstiles on way to conclave
2) Going over wall pasr Rembrant
3) Running with Fox and Rembrant

I don't have the Blu-ray (just got a PS3 for my wedding and am going to get the Blu-ray) but if someone can get a better screen grab, that would be great.

Holy Sh**! The 2nd one is just like it. I think they got the design for the patch a little from Studio 54 (which had a moon with a cocain spoon) which was opular back then. I think they took that and modified it to be a menacing moon holding a knife instead of the spoon. IDK just what I think. Great find wargod!

The design also reminds me a little of a reversed turkish flag.
Ok, these are where ive spotted moonrunners, and theres more than 3 scenes.
In addition to the ones youve mentioned, Theres one where the camera pans through the crowd during cyrus speech.  The same moonrunners are seen lifting their arms cheering for the can you dig it part.  When cleon leaps over the riffs guard rails to look at cyrus, a moonrunner runs past when cleon is in mid air.  One of the last conclave scenes where the cops are pushing the gangs back in the opposite direction, theres a moonrunner in that bit.  Theres a good side view of the yellow armband wearing leader as cleon leads the rest of the warriors down the conclave steps when they first arrive.  When the warriors are making their way to punch the fence to the graveyard, they run past the riffs who are pointing at them.  In that bit, theres a moonrunner and also something else of note; 2 yellow black striped shirt gang (sports or jsb's?) but both their shirts look to be undone and to show all the torso.

If you want I can get some screen grabs at some point this weekend and email them to you?

Damn, this reference material is giving me eye strain. After what seems like an aeon squinting at the screen, I cant see any individual teeth in the logo; so either the teeth lines are too thin to show up in that shot, or they're a lighter colour than black, maybe a dark grey?  Thats gonna be my next alteration.  The top rear of the mouth/gums is a thicker black line than the rest of the mouth.

Same with me. Each screen shot looks diff to me. The way the jacket moves in each shot alters the design of the logo. I was thinking that the teeth was whole one piece on top and bottom with the top pertruding over the bottom. Trying to get the side of the mouth has been hard too. Ninth what else on my design needs to be done???

I thought that I had started to make this thing gel together, but I made myself an angle guide, and it shows that my design is way off.  I think I need to push my moon's face back a lttle.  Ive got to try and match the angle of the centre line in the arm.  Is it just me or does the spine of the moon not stick to the circle shape.  Ive some sessions of correcting ahead of me to try and make everything line up.  To the average fan, they probably wouldn't realise anything is wrong with the design if we went with the one's we've got, but we may as well do this as close as possible while we've got the opportunity.  I wouldn't go sending any designs out just yet.

I think ive got close with the face and the angles on the back of the mouth look about right.  Ive made the tail end a little shorter from the previous posts.  Its improved from my obese moon in mk2 design.
