Anyone interested in a 24-hour 1979 movie marathon?

Post by Scurvy Dog »

Hey all.

This afternoon I was thinking about the forum and the movie, and I came upon an idea: What if we, as a forum, blocked off a 24 hour period during which at least one of us would be watching the movie at any given time?

For example, we'd synchronize our clocks, base it off the forum clock (GMT), and every hour someone would start watching. It wouldn't matter if we had someone watching in every time zone, as long as during that 24 hours at least one of us was watching.

I think it would be kind of a cool "unity" thing we could do as a group, at least until we all get the chance to watch it together in 2009.

Is anyone game for something like this. Maybe we could watch and shoutbox at the same time. I think something like that would be really cool.

That is one hell of an idea.  If we can pull it off, I don't know.  But I like the idea of the Warriors playing somewhere on  earth, all the time.  I'm in.
