well....u know....ajax is more stronger than swan....and swan is more brilliant than ajax...but the question...why cleon choose swan...not ajax.....he(cleon) want the great soldier and i think ajax must take cleon position....

All Ajax wanted to do was fight. Seriously, if he was in charge, he would have ordered the Warriors to stay and fight the Turnbulls. Do you really think the Warriors could defeat all those Turnbulls? I doubt it, bro.

Ajax in a way is a sexually perverted white trash version of Patton. He's got that always-ready-to-fight bulldog attitude that you would love to have on your side, but lead you? hell no!

Well before I ban you for breaking the rules. Did you even look at the characters?
Swan= Cool, patient, smart, quick, respectful, and respected
Ajax= Horny, hot tempered, and not very smart

Cleon chose Swan because....................you would have to be mad................. to choose Ajax.

Well It´s been said before...
But Ajax probably is the best fighter among the Warriors in the movie. But Cleon, as a leader, knew that Swan was smarter than Ajax and that he COULD lead and was a pretty good fighter too.
I guess we´ll never know but I think that Ajax, if he was named leader, would have made some very bad choises.

Ajax wasn't made war chief because he is a tool who would have gotten them all wrecked.

Ajax was a hot head and a rapist. Swan was cool under pressure and could fight as well. I feel that Cleon chose swan because he had more brains than Ajax.

OK.... Ajax was my favorite, but I have to admit......I don't think The Warriors would have made it back if he was leader......Whew. That was hard. But its true. Everyone has different qualitys, and Ajax's was the Heavy Muscle, and Swan was the leader.

Because a leader can't fight only. He must be smart, take decisions and he must care his army. So Swan was choosen to be warchief.

swan-the intelligent one of the strongest of the bunch knows the way home
ajax-very very very tuff and ruff the best fighter not very smart but hes "il tell you one thing WARLORD im smart enough" that whats he said "sh** i bet you cant even find the subway"is what swan should be saying to him
so really think about it

Well Cleon chose Swan because he had the brains and he knew that Swan would be worthy of that postion. Now, Ajax had the muscle but he didn't have the brains. He prefered brauns over brains. Also like cowboy said about ajax.
Swan:"Where's Ajax?"
Snow:"They got him. Two squad cars."
Swan:" Well I should have made him come with us."
Cowboy:" It wasn't your fault he made mistakes.Thats just the way he was."
That proves that Ajax was flawed in choices.

swan and ajax get compared all the time in alot of topics, aint it obvious why cleon chose swan. and yes this little convo in the deleted scene shows ajax was wreckless and fell for women and stuff and swan is smart
