Warriors in the real world, real gangs, real life, real blood. Would the warriors even stand one chance?

The Warriors had values, they don't exist in the status of bling we witness today.

I dont think the Warriors would be able to exist in todays gang world because they had a code they lived by. Call it a code of honor or loyalty, but even though they were hardcore boppers they still had morals. I live in Southern California and there are always stories in the newspaper about gang members shooting 8 year olds and beating 70 year old grandparents. I cant picture them as having no values whatsoever.

What I can picture is the Warriors as a modern day crime syndicate like the Mafia. They could extort people and businesses because they had the numbers and soldiers to do so.
