In times of war, they had rules, where you never fought in the winter, there was a truce, that was unwritten, and understood, because fighting in the snow is hard as hell. So I would figure street gangs follow the same basic set of principles. Or at least if there's snow on the ground, uphold a truce. But that's just my opinion.

It's a little known fact that the reason America won the American Revolution was because our people broke the rules of war, and battled in the snow, completely taking the brits by surprise.

this is a good ? i would say maybe they would still invade others and fight. but im sure all the warriors were cold as hell. even cowboy, even though hes wereing a t-shirt that still doesnt do anything when its snowing. i would wear a swater under my vest. i think all the gangs would be cold, most dont wear shirts, only like a ripped shirt or a t-shirt or something. seriousely can you name a gang that could be warm with the clothes they wear.

well they could have put jackets on. They might have had a winter uniform. Or did what luther from the movie did. Put his vest over a sweater. They arent going to go out into the snow dressed in what they wore from the movie. They would probably get frost bite. They could have had gang jackets made too or something like that. Just my thoughts. Oh and to say a gang who wore warm colors... it looked like the moon runners and electric eleminators jackets looked nice and cozy in the cold.

I would of thought they would of fought though the snow like in the cold war. No matter if it
was raining or snowing they should of fought. Unless some of them didnt fight and let there gurd down.

Not to flame, but do you even know what the Cold War was? Let me enlighten you: (from Wikipedia)
Wikipedia wrote: The Cold War was the protracted geopolitical, ideological, and economic struggle that emerged after World War II between capitalism and communism, centering around the global superpowers of the United States and the Soviet Union, and their military alliance partners. It lasted from about 1947 to the period leading to the collapse of the Soviet Union on December 25, 1991. Between 1985 and 1991 Cold War rivalries first eased and then ended.
Seriously, do a little research before spouting out the first thing that comes to mind, ok? Again, I'm not trying to flame you or anything, just sayin'.

On subject, I covered this in the story I submitted for the first round of the Fan Fiction competition. I figure that the gang warfare calms down, but doesn't stop entirely. They also probably have winter uniforms, so that they can actually function.

Cut me a break, my mind is messed up right now from girls problems. I got it mixed up.
I would of thought even though snow was falling from the sky they would of fought.
Like you said "They also probably have winter uniforms" I can see that but wouldnt the uniforms
slow them down? Like if they would of wear one of those big fat jackets. But about sickness?
If they would of gotten sick?

This question is a little weird, and debeitfull at the same time. It was weird in the first place that some of the warriors were running on about shirtless, with all the new york rain, im not even surprised if the actors got really sick when shooting the film, even though they put on coats when the actor said cut. The good place to go shirtless would be on california... man is it hot up in there!! They would of probrably werar shirts underneath thoug.. a soldier cant bop well with a runny nose, now can he?

it doesnt really get hot here man. only on the summers and some the very beginnig of fall, but trust me it gets friggen cold when its fall or winter. my science teacher said that you cant get cold if your wet and its cold out, he said you can only get sick from a viruse.

Everybody keeps mentioning the fact that some of them were shirtless... but New York city is hot as all hell in July, when the conclave is supposed to have taken place. Granted, the whole movie wasn't shot in July, but that's when it takes place.
