yep, some of you know im making a rogues vest. i just started really workiing on it. i have a denim vest, a base patch, embroidery supplies, and some black rit dye. i wish i coulda just got a leather vest, but beggers cant be choosers. especially in a thrift store, here's the base for the patch, i freehanded it all. whaddya think? and heres the vest, its an exact copy, only this is denim and here's what im gonna do to it!    any comments?

that is very cool,If you say you drew the patch freehand then you must be an amazing artist.And good leather jackets are hard to find,so dying it black it the next best thing,great idea.The only thing I didn't like was on the patch,where you colord it red,there are alot of little white spaces,besides that its great!

the white spaces are because i scribbled it in. thats just the color coding so my mothere (who is going to embroider over it) knows what to do. she hasnt seen the movie. and i dont have any good pics of the patch for her to copy. and i kinda made it a mix between the movie and game versions of the patch, like the broad white chain from the game, and the swirl on the bottom of the hood, from the movie.

and if anybody's curious, all the supplies (the vest, the special fabric backing for the patch, the thread for the embroidery, the rit dye, etc) costed me 20 bucks at most. the vest was 45 cents at a thrift store.

Very cool CAZ! Makes me want to go and pull something similar...  Looks like it will come along pretty nicely though, be sure to post pics of when it's finished!

i was looking for a denim vest a few weeks ago but its really hard to find one. i was gonna make an AC vest

uh uh, no way. besides, i have it dyed black already, and i dont think its the right kinda vest anyway. and i just like the rogues more.....even though they set up the warriors.

Pretty tight caz. I was going to make a vest myself, but the right materials cost a lot of money, which i dont have right now.

nah, sorry man. i'll be wearing this thing all over the place. even though i have read police reports of a biker gang  in my area called "the rogues". but i dont have the same patch, or the same vest style anyway. and i i have advice for anyone who says that this project costs too much. thrift stores, they made this project about 20 bucks. and a little bit of wal-mart in there as well.

well, my grandmother was just hopitalised, and the doctors have no clue whats wrong with her. they've been doing all kinds of tests for weeks, but no results. so the production has been delayed for a while. but the vest went through the dyebath, and its a little messed up so i'll have to do that again. and the patch...we;ve got the lettering for "rogues" done, and weve finished the red cloak. we just need to do the skeleton dude, and all the black parts. then its done. sorry i havent updated for a while.

oh hell yeah! it's finally finished, and just 2 hours before the party where i have to where it! i'll have some pics up in about 20 mins
