Being new to this site I dont know if this has been covered or is a stupid question but...

My girlfriend and I goin to new york again next year and I would love to go to Coney island to see the Wonder Wheel, Is Coney safe for know  nothing tourists or would we get wrecked Any tips

Coney is fine. I went there last year with the girlfriend and it was no problem.

I'm going again in November so it must be o.k

As long as you stick to the main area and don't wonder too far from it you should be fine. Like any place just use your street smarts.

Oh yeah there are lots of police around especially the hot dog bars

I did not know the wonder wheel was real I always thought it was a prop

I think the prop department left the Wonder wheel after filming!!

i live a half an hour from C.I. and every time i go i feel safe! its so pleasant there!i heard it it gets cleaner and better every moment! 8)!

cool. It has a great boardwalk. And I drive through there everytime I visit my relatives although it doesn't seem amazingly nice but it's ok.

Yo man youll be find there.  If you have ever been to a city before youll be fine.  If your really worried about it then stay towards he boardwalk.  Make sure you stop at nathans for some tasty dogs!
