No more Warriors vests!!!!!

Got this email from Dale from A-1 tonite!

URGENT,
Regarding Warrios vests and patches
Hey Boppers,

I was contacted today by Paranamounts Attourney demanding me to remove all Warriors items from my website and cease sales immediatly.
I tried to purchase rights to sell Warriors items and was told by the Atty.Paramount does not want Warriors items on the streets period and they would not give me or anyone permissions to re-produce anything WARRIORS.
Unfortunatly (as I told the Atty.) I am not able to access my server to remove the WARRIORS pages: http://a-1americanflags.com/warriorsvests.html until aprox. 10- 16-05.
In other words WE HAVE INVENTORY in all sizes XS to 3xL WARRIORS VESTS AND MANY PATCHES that will not be advertised after aprox. 10- 16-05.
If you want any Warriors items, I suggest NOW is the TIME.
LAST CHANCE !! (If you catch my drift)
CAN YOU DIG IT ??
No need to explain the lawsuite ordeal for copy right infringments.
does this mean the Warriors items have to go underground ??

Needless to say, I will not be making patches from other gangs in the Movie and will not be creating a email as Cyrus.
The Warriors vests have now become a very valuable collectors items.

I guess this is a good way of saying to Paramount,
Make a better DVD next time,
The real infrigment was that DVD they released??
and I hope they read this.. :badgrin:

yeah, i heard from dale yesterday, too.
he sent me some mini-patches!!!
which i though was pretty kool, i haven't spoken to him in quite some time.

Yeah, I got the E-Mail as well, this is horrible news, especially when he was currently working on other gang patches. I guess I should just be happy that I own a vest.

What sucks is that paramount is coming down on him for this and even when he offers to go into business with them they refuse. Are they going to make their own vests to sell? Doubtful and even if they do they'll probably be REAL crap quality-wise. Get' em now if you've been on the fence! What's ironic is wasn't paramount in trouble with the Hell's Angels over the logo themselves and that's one reason they are different in the upcoming videogame? If that's so, they might not have leg to stand on legally.

Wow.im glad I already got my vest. also,just got my warriors patch set yesterday(only ordered it on monday,so that was quick!) and sewed em on my Harley Davidson black leather vest.and I will wear em whenever and wherever i want.

It is truly a sad day here in Warriorvile brothers.They(paramount) wouldn't be complaining about it if they had just left everything well enough alone...

hey dave, dale may have found a loop-hole!
if he can prove a 10% difference in his vest's and the original, he can still legaly sell them!!
he sent me a letter asking me to be as critical as possible, of his vest's, and he would use that info to display on his website, to avoid the copyright lawsuit.
so, what we need to do is everybody who has a vest, inspect it as analy as possible, and point out ALL the difference's between his, and the originals.
either send him an email or put it up here in this category, and i'll get it to him. i sent him a reply already, stating as many difference's as i could come up with. i'll tell you all why he asked me first, later. (shock!!!)
so do what you can!

The ones in the movie were fake leather, really red, whereas these, I assume, are real leather, and more of an orangish-brownish from what pics I've seen. Also, wasn't there a big thing about the coloring of the patches and the border of the vests?

I think the skull on dales patch is alittle different also.plus the warriors lettering in the banner is different and it's whiter than in the movie

Hey all!

After comparing my vest to the ones in the film, (the new transfer makes comparing easier) it definitley looks more different than just 10% off. While Dale did a great job IMHO, his vest color is indeed more orangey-brown and actual leather. The "Warriors" patch is too small and the white is too white and his vests have 4 medium sized buttons and the movie ones have FIVE smaller buttons. Definitely more than a 10% difference IMHO.
