Hello all,
Well I had a brilliant time in NYC, sadly it had to come to an end and I am now back in the UK.
Anyway, I managed to get lots of photos of a few of The Warriors filming locations whilst I was there, Coney Island, the conclave (Riverside Park), 72nd Street station and 100th St. There are quite a few so rather than load them all into a thread here I have created a little blog so they can be viewed, here is a link...

If you have any problems accessing the blog let me know.

Oh yeah, should just add that if you click on any of the photos they will open up into bigger format.

Links work fine. Pleased that you enjoyed your trip. Digging the shot of the wonderwheel from the end of the train platform.
Did you get to see how bad the arcades had been damaged from last years fire?

To be honest I didn't think to look at the arcades, so can't answer your question.

Some great shot's you managed to get Riff. Does the Wonder wheel still light up the same colours as it did in the movie?

I don't know, we left late afternoon and sunset is not until about 8.15pm in NYC at the moment so it wasn't lit up whilst we were there. Thinking about it, it would have been good to see it lit up at night.
One thing I have noticed since though is if you watch the alternative intro when Cleon is talking to his lady on the bench, the Wonder Wheel and Cyclone seem to be the wrong way around? If you walk along the boardwalk from Stillwell Ave you see the Wonder Wheel first and then the Cyclone, but if you look at that intro the Cyclone is before (or to the left) of the Wonder Wheel? Either that bench was not on the boardwalk but behind the two rides, although it looks like it is on the boardwalk, or they reversed the picture somehow, or the Wonder Wheel has moved since (although this cant be as it looks in the same position from the train platform).

The link works perfectly. Wonderful pics, all of them. Heh, I hope I'll come to NY one day to see filming locations.
