I was just thinking as to how cool and easy it would be to create a Rogues hearse replica
Since nobody knows what happend to the original hearse
You wouldn't need a premium or restored example to start with. Just a beater you could throw a motor and trans in and get the brakes working. A little spray paint and your done

The ultimate rat rod

I started loooking for one and I found a beater one in Colorado for $5000  :? But the windshield was smashed out and they are hearse only. Im gonna keep looking and if I can find one cheap and close enough Im gonna do it  ;) I have the place to build it and keep it. I can see pulling into a shiny car show with a 55 cad hearse painted in Rogues trim clicking the beer bottles. Oh yeah, Living the dream.

Here is a pic of what they call a combonation car.  Its a combo of a hearse and a ambulance.
Small towns that could not afford both, got one of these.

Great idea! You should talk to Warchief, or who ever is in charge of the Conclave '09 and maybe you could get it put on display there!

Now how awsome would that be?

Yeah get David Kelly and Joel Weiss to drive up the Conclave entrance and get the red carpet treatment

Does anybody have any clear production photos of the hearse? Its hard to see the graffiti clearly on you tube vids?

Will you be spraying "FAG" over the right front wheel? lol.  If your not going to do an exact copy, you could always intergrate the Rogues gang colors somewhere on the body.
Good luck with that.

UUummm I would want it to be as close exact as possiable but maybe not that exact. It would be cool to do a Rogues mural on the roof  8) During the summer I was at a scrap yard and there was a mid fifties cad limo set off to the side.  If it was a hearse I would have asked about it. Im gonna start searching for a beater hearse. A poor example shoudn't be that much.?

The Swan any pics or stills that you could dig up would be great.

That really would be something to see. I've thought about doing that to a model if I ever ran across one but not the real thing.

Could you imagine you driving with Luther riding shotgun.

Yeah I could do a guided coney bus tour with it.
I was reading up about the Rogues hearse and since it was a hearse there were no rear seats for the other Rogues to sit on during filming so they sat on egg crates instead

So how's the hearse project been going so far? If you are done, or close to being done, then you could probably contact the people in charge of the film festival in New Jersey and get it displayed there!
