I think the answer is really simple - it's a great movie that doesn't just appeal to American audiences. One can even ask, it's such a "New York" movie, how can anyone in Boise, Idaho enjoy it/relate to it?
It's simply just a great movie and definitely a product of its time and environment that appeals to many. There are Warriors fans all over the world and while the fandom may not be as big as say, Star Wars, Spider-Man or Superman, Warriors fans are indeed worldwide.
I'm in NYC and I have no problem with this site being a UK site. We're all Warriors brothers and sisters. Heck, I mentioned Superman before, many forget (or don't realize) that the original Superman The Movie from 1978, based on one of the greatest American heroes ever created and one of the greatest movies ever made IMO, was a British production.

hey so, how did you know about this movie? like i said before, i knew this movie through the game first...haha... really weird i know...Green_Shirt_Guy wrote: I can totally relate to sharker_93. As I stated elsewhere in the forum the movie is not very well known here in Portugal. I haven't met a person who knows it. There must be some out there especially because of the video game.
I'm doing my part to change that. I think my friends get a bit tired of constantly hearing me talk about the movie and the forum![]()

I found out about it on the net. Just by chance. Don't remember exactly where. I searched more info on the movie and came up with this forum.
Not long after that I bought the DVD and became a fan ever since.
