Re-Scored VHS version

Post by Amano »

Does anybody else own or even seen/heard of the re-scored VHS version of the film?

Its made in U.K. And on the back cover at the bottom it says "Some music re-scored" Although there's only one song that I've noticed differant (i have it on DVD also)

The "Nowhere to Run" track just before the Turnball AC's is replaced with a differant song. "I'm ready for Action, got nothing to lose" Or something along those lines is roughly how the lyrics go.

LoL, i much prefer the re-scored track. It fits the 'flow' of the film much better. Its very upbeat and fast and gets you psyched. Whereas "Nowhere to Run" fits the story and situation better.

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen/heard of this re-scored version.

Yeah i've got the version someplace!

I agree the Fugitive song is much better.

I think it's called. "I'm a Fugitive"

Yeah, Fugitive.. that sounds about right lol.

It supposedly rare. I searched the net for it and everywhere i went the only VHS version that kept coming up was the version with the real-life Warriors pic.

Whereas the re-scored version has the same animated cover as the Soundtrack.[/img]

I 'll see about maybe trying to record the tune. As i've mentioned in a previous post it's my Fave tune.

I think it's about the only song they changed.

I bought this version of the film on original VHS back in the late 80's, it has the usual picture on the cover with a green/blue background and spine.

From memory it was only the song 'Nowhere to run' that was changed. Dont know why they did that though?

I managed to get this version about a month ago....

I bought it from a car boot sale.....it cost me £1!!! :D

I actually prefer 'Nowhere To Run' in the film though. ;)
