I was curious to see if anyone had read this amazing book.

For those who don't know, The Lovely Bones is about Susie Salmon, a fourteen year old girl who gets murdered by her neighbor. While she's up in Heaven, she watches her family and friends and watches things unravel. It's an excellent story that hypnotizes you and doesn't let you go until you've finished the book. I'd highly recommend it.

Yeah I've heard good things about this book, but I really couldn't get into it , not really my kind of book. I might try and read it again sometime though.

Which is not a bad idea, because the ending is pretty cool...

How far into it did you read, or do you not remember?

Um.......I think I read the first couple of chapters, not 100% sure though. I've decided I'm gonna read it actually, but I'm reading The Outsiders just now though so I'll read it afterwards. Thanks Toaster, I think I might enjoy it a little more this time around.

Ahh! I LOVED this book...
its weird because I HATE reading books.. but this kept me interested. I found it a free book pile.. it was practically brand new, it was in great condition and it was a hard cover.
