Chuck Palahniuk

Post by goin_CRAZY »

Does anyone else really really like Chuck Palahniuk? Or even just really like him or plain like him. He's the guy that wrote Fight Club, it's his most known work anyway. His best book (that I've read anyway) is Survivor. I've also read Choke and I just bought Invisible Monsters. So go ahead and talk about your opinions on him.

Yeah! Chuck Palahniuk is THE MAN!! I think my favourite book by him has to be either Choke or Diary. Although i thought Haunted was waaaay overrated, what was the deal with all those people fainting at readings of it?? I thought Diary was so much creepier. Just my opinion though i guess.
What about me? I got the big one...

Chuck Palahniuk is god. The only book I haven't read is Fugitives and Refugees, and that's only because I can't find it anywhere.

My favorite is also Survivor. And I too think that Haunted is overrated. Probably the worst of his books, but still better than alot of other stuff.

What other authors do you read? I'm into Selby alot now, and I read Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh (great book and movie)  :)
