Ya know, most people might think that making a game version of The Wanderers would be stupid, but then again, The Warriors didn't really have alot of potential either. Yet Rockstar made one of the best games of all time.

I think that a Wanderers game would work as a prequel kind of game like the Warriors. You know, show The Wanderers' encounters with other gangs like the Pips, the Rays, the Ducky Boys, etc. THEN go to the movie's events. Imagine how cool it would be to play as Joey running from the Baldies, and then Perry wrecking 12 baldies without any effort at all.

Oh man.... that huge gang rumble at the football field would be so cool to play, especially as any of the gangs you want.

Then have a rumble mode type mini game collection. Here are the gangs from The Wanderers I have found so far:

1. The Wanderers- italian
2. The Fordham Baldies- mixed, all bald
3. The Del Bombers- black
4. The Wongs- asian
5. The Ducky Boys- irish, short
6. The Rays- irish
7. The Executioners- polish
8. The Pharoahs- jewish
9. The Pips- black
10. The Cavaliers- black
11. The Mau Maus- black
12. The Eagles- unknown

And that's all I found so far, so anybody think this might be a good idea?

but thats basically the same game as the warriors jus with the gangs from the wanderers

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but there would be ALOT of differences. I'm not talking about stealing the gameplay and stuff, just the concept of a prequel and a mini-game collection, that's all.

i think thatd be pretty cool. id be down for another gang type game

In case you don't know, in the 50's there were PLENTY of racial gangs, including races you wouldn't expect.

thats would be a cool game. i havnt seen the movie yet but ive seen the end fight scene thanks to cowboys cool.

Even though I much prefer the Warriors, I did like the Wanderers, and would be interested if they made a game based on that film. The soundtrack could be great, lots of 50's and early 60's stuff. Any gang game that doesn't feature the usual gangster rap and a whole bunch of badly dressed 50 Cent wannabes running around the hood is worth a look.

And yeah, there were Jewish gangs too. It does make sense, lots of Jews in New York. Even during prohibition, there were Jewish crews along with the more well known Italian and Irish gangsters.

oh come on ppl!!! wanderers was a great movie and-uh-oh...IT'S THE BALDIES lol but a wanderers game would be cool...especaily the ducky boys in it...they wer soooo creepy!!!

I'd like to see a Wanderers Game. I've not yet saw the movie, but I've saw the end rumble in the football park. They could maybe make it like Dead Rising, the gameplay I mean. I liked the Warriors gameplay but I prefer the Dead Rising. And better graphics too.

Yes I really do think that if they had a Wanderers game it would be good. I saw a clip of that big fight at the football field. That was so cool. The gang I think was the best was The Wongs since they helped.

The gangs I would probably take interest in is:The Wongs
                                                                  Del Bombers
                                                                  The Executioners


I hope they do come out with this game.

That would be heaps cool a wanderers game since i wathched the movie i have always wondered if they would make a wanderers game.

nice idea by the way.....it could work but they would need to add alot in because there is not alot of real action in the movie apart from the big fight with the ducky boys
