Hopefully it isnt based on the new movie coming out. And even though blood and guts are really cool 8) .....but I don't think they should be in this game. Absolute violence wouldn't suit the Warriors somehow. ESPECIALLY rockstar violence. 8) Bazookas and shit.

Any thoughts?........

By the packaging, it seems to be based on the original release. Amadain is right, absolute violence would not fit the Warrior motif. Come to think of it, there were only 2 big fights in the film -the Baseball Furies, and that gang in the Union Station restroom. They spent more time on the run.

does anybody remember the old spectrum game years ago called renegade it was very similar to the warriors .the first stage had u fightin out of the subway against punks there was also an allgirl gang in it and the last boss had a gun it was a wicked game

That game is on eBay for dirt cheap. Its for the Snes and Sega too. Dirt cheap, starting at $.01. Looks pretty good.

I always thought the Final Fight game was influenced by the warriors. Theres a fight in a subway and a toilet. you even get wasted by a cop. Fighting force on the ps1 aint bad either. Judging by the recent promo poster on coney island, the warriors game has the original cast in it.

The new Warriors game will be based on the original movie. By seeing the poster ad in Coney Island (via that real live bunch website) it pretty much shows us that the original characters will be in the game. The poster is a must see, the characters look so real! You can see it by going to the Warriors Real Live Bunch Website (listed under links) and got to the page headed 'the stuff'.
