Pt 2:Rockstar game...Facts Not Fiction..
One of the first things that we discussed before he mentioned the interview for the Special Ed Dvd,was the fact that he recorded audio for all of Ajax's voiceovers for the upcoming videogame...The cool thing was.. 'besides' calling him up just to say hi ,it was the first thing i was going to ask him,and psychically he brought it up to me before i uttered a word ...Whew..man..what a breath of fresh air...

For a moment,i actually thought they were goin to go the lazy cheeseball way out by having someone else do the voice of Ajax...But c'mon!!!?...What sacrilege that would've been...I picked up the new issue of Game Informer..Like all us Warriors,i've been waiting for this for many months now...God it looks so beautiful..just think of how much better its gonna be when its completed...Warrior for life, Mez

Ps...does this mean I still have to be a friggin Orphan?..C'mon spare me..I think i've earned some warrior stripes.. if u really want to get down to it and rumble...It's cool though,i'm in no hurry.. more to come...Back to Coney :) 4/23/05

Sorry dude you gotta earn the rank like everyone else. But, don't try and do it in a week. Please!

Are you a journalist or did you just phone him on instinct?

I'm family related...I'm his distant nephew...i've known him since i was 10yrs old..I met him a week after the release of The Warriors when he stayed over at my parents house in Oakland Ca in 1979...Between 81-82,I moved to the Northwest (Oregon)..At that time I had fell out of contact with him up until '88..

By coincidence, i was hired by Gus Van Sant as a stand in for James Legros on ''Drugstore Cowboy'',casted in the film, and also a production assistant..It just so happened that James Remar was a lead in the film...I had no idea whatsoever he was going to be in it...Looking back,.that was an absolutely miraculous thing how we re-connected..It's one reason why i believe there's a higher force up there looking over me(amen)..Anyway,I stay in touch now..I call him whenever i feel like it..But he doesn't really like talking about The Warriors all the time...

So real soon here, for the gallery & archives, i will post some pix of my history and relation with Jamie (that's what the fam calls him)..as well as an mp3 link of my Warriors theme(remix), including an exclusive Intro/guest appearance for me by Ajax himself..I think everyone should really dig my mix..stay tuned boppers....Back to coney, Mestizo69
