OK, Cleon gets wasted for getting blamed for a murder he didn't do. Luther shoots Cyrus. Wouldn't the people near Luther and The Rogues see him shoot. AND smoke comes from the barrel of the gun, wouldn't people see the smoke also.

I have always wonderd that myself, Fox witnessed the shooting also and doesn't say anything about it through the whole movie, I know you are new too, but this should be in The Warriors(1979) Movie forum.

Yep. I think in reality, The Riffs would have turned to see where the shot/gun blast came from and rushed the spot. Possibly a few random gang members standing nearby would have rushed Luther too. Especially afterwards when he's pointing the gun at Fox. He stands out like a sore thumb. Nevermind, I'm glad it happened the way it did anyway :p.

It really depends though if you where in that situation and didn't know about it, I wouldn't know about it as all the gang members eyes are on Cyrus. And near the end of the film it shows that some other click had seen what had happened. You would have never seen him shot him unless you where really close or randomly saw him.
I think that because you have seen so many times you thinking of new ways the film should turn out I've things like that when watching a movie. Put good point its good people still think about it today.

well first of all i think this should be in the movie section ...but still a good idea.
Now , think about this ...... as soon as the shot was blown ,if you take out the slow motion it was a matter of 1.5 secs. for every one to realize he was shot.the gunshot was such a deffining sound to nearby people.other gang members (as you can see) are to stunned at the sight of Cyrus's corpse falling to its plummet threw the wood ,so many are distracted from where the smoke came from as far as the smoke goes. even if people did see where the smoke came from they wouldnt be able to see who did it because of the scattering poeple. the riffs had to see if Cyrus was ok before they spot the murder.the Riffs probably figure they have such good connections that they can find the perp(s) later. keep in mind that this all happened in about 3.5 seconds (without slow-mo ).
