PS2 PAL Version question

Hi!

All of you people having the PS2 PAL version of the game:

Is the game just badly convertet to PAL? My game looks like a stop-motion animation (PAL pumping). I can't describe ths very good, but it just doesn't run fluidly. This is especially in the cutscenes visible, and when you look around fast (with the second analog stick).
Does anyone else have this or is it just me?
