I am stuck in this mission where Virgil throws malotov cocktails at me and i keep going up in flames. Do I have to keep throwing bottles at him? This part is a pain in the butt!!

that last part where you're stuck in the warehouse with him is a pain in the arse..... i don't think you need to rely solely on throwing things; i'm pretty sure he was susceptible to fists, also. when you see him wind up to throw, make sure you back off some distance and keep moving! they're not all molotovs, but i don't recall a pattern to his throwing...

i'm also trying to see if sprinting makes the flames go out faster when you're on fire...i thought it helped once or twice but now i'm not so sure..... any thoughts?

It took me ages but I found a way. You want to start that level with as much flash as possible (as it turned out for me, Vermin went down straight away so I made it on my own and didn't revive him). Part one, just lob bricks and bottles until he moves to the second room. In the second room, keep on lobbing stuff at him (the clue is in the amount of bottles on the floor!). If you go near him he'll floor you. The trick is to work out where he is hiding and then from a distance, lob stuff, run and lob. In the third room, you can actually beat him up and he won't floor you, but it takes a lot of time! I made it with one red bar remaining! I am playing on the hardest level.

I finally got past the first room mainly because of repeating it so many times I got good at throwing. Now when I am in the second room do I stay at the beginning of the map because I cant find a way to get through the burning boxes by jumping or punching though them...how do you get out of there??

You have to find Virgil in the shadows and throw bottles as mentioned before..
It's a pain though, he kicks you in the balls and when you get up he uppercuts you.
I hate that mission.

Kinda a pain in the a$$ when you go near him he grabs you and kicks you in the nuts....as ajax would put it...."Fuckin wimp"
