Greatness. Here is my Review:
The Warriors.
A cult classic movie. I picked this game up today and my god, it breaks the tradition that movie games suck.
R* did their best, and thats what this is: The best possible game for the warriors. All the profanity is in this game. The graphics are sluggish, but it's made by R*, so consider the source. Another great feature is the rumble mode, which allows you to pit gangs against each other in a 5 vs. 5 or 1 vs. 1 brawl.
The story is loosely based around the movie. The infamous speech is shown, then the game rewinds 3 months back in time, when Rembrandt joins the army. You play though that into the events of the movie. The game has most of the dialouge/intrigue of the movie.
The gameplay is simple. yet effective. The War Chief mode is so hard no navigate with an XBOX controller, or maybe it's my twitchy thumb, who knows. The minigames for spray painting, mugging, and stealing car stereos are fun, but can be repetitive.
The actors from the movie, for the better part, voice their characters. Ajax, Swan, Cochise, Cleon, Snow. Those all have their original voices. Everyone else in this game are done by generic actors, who sound good anyway.
All in all, this game is worth the buy. Its fun, has 2 player multiplayer, a multiplayer fight game. Somewhat good graphics, a easy control scheme. Worth the $53.23 out of the gate.
