I still have yet to see the movie since the copy is always checked out, but heres my q:

How come when the gangs gather for the meeting, they're all mixed together? even if there was a truce called, why would the gangs risk being outnumbered and split up like that?

Well alot of them had Childhood Friends maybe who joined different gangs.

I mean its like a Reunion only with gangs. Besides it was a Peace Rally to Start a War Rally.
