i havent really paid much attention to the game and its features so i was wondering dose anyone know wether free roam will be available?

Supposedly it is, but noone knows how far it really is, like if you just free roam a certain part when in a mission, or just free roam inbetween missions and going to blips on the radar to do missions, like in GTA.

Personally I'd rather have the game just progress than to have freeroam, whenevr I lose in a mission in GTA I'm clear across the map and have to drive all the way back to the mission start to redo the mission, only to fail again and have to restart. I'd be a bigger pain running back only on foot.

Don't you start out in The Warriors ideout inbetween missions with the opprotunity to free roam?

I don't believe you can freely walk from one end of the game's setting to the other, because you travel to different gang territories via a map that's accessed when you enter the subway.

I doubt if you can roam like in GTA3...you should be able to roam freely within C.I. turf...of course on your missions...

your probarly right a gta3 freeroaming style game would be very unlikley if there is free roam im guessing it well be once the gme is cmpleted you can just get on trains and travel too other gangs turfs and fuck things up i mean why would they add tagging and the stealing and buying feature? if the story mode isnt very long im going too be almost certain there will be a slight freeroam feature but ill probarly be dissapointed

There is free roam u can chose were u want to invade during free roam as well like enemy gang turfs.

That's something I hadn't considered, what would happen after you complete the game [or how long the game]...the Rogues beaten bloody on the sand...you walk into the sunset w/ Mercy...then it's game over...insert more quarters

if there is nothing once the game is completed ill porbarly just play it over and over again pn harder difficulties diffrent charecters etc (if you can) but who knows perhaps there is a secret too unlock by completing the game and im sure rockstar will add lots of easter eggs just waiting too be found

I imagine it will be like Jet Set Radio Future -- a free-roaming-ish hangout, and multiple areas of the city you can go to. Once you're in that area you can free roam, and have the option to choose missions.

it will because there u chose if u want to invade a gang turf or not.

Well from the old screen im guessing you can free roam that little area. I doubt you can ride the cyclone or the wheel itself

After u beat the game u will proabably still be able to fight other gangs if not this would be stupid. i mean its not like they killed everyone lol.

Yeah, then a gang war starts on your turf as you reach the top of the Wonder Wheel. Then you have to sit there and watch your gang get killed, only hoping that the Wheel will move faster...or at all. Or, you could trap enemy gangs on it! We all know the Riffs really just wanted to hop on that thing.

Unless you pull a James Dean-East of Eden and climb down it.
