I wonder if the games weapons are going to be like manhunt, where you can only carry 3 weapons at a time. or if its going to be like GTA and carry a shit load. i kind of want to see only 3, to make it more real.

I'm assuming you can only carry one, but even that's enough when outnumbered in a corner.

Yeah, i think they're going for a realistic feeling, not just pull out 20 big weapons from no where. Besides, i want a feeling of that i could actually die. Not just "oh, im surrounded..Let me pull out a machette!". So yeah, probably one weapons, and spray paint.

I agree, let's keep it true to life. 1st, your greatest weapon is the mind, this is where it starts. 2nd, your defense, because w/o this your offense is useless. 3rd, your offense...what I would choose for my offense and defense, the body...hands, feet, head, elbows, knees...provided you know how to use them...after that, ball bat...bow gun...cattle prod...the choices are endless. 8)

i hope you can only carry 1 or 2 but your party members can also carry some and you can trade up and stuff

Well on the site there is a video that shows Ajax "buying" and knife from a guy, so maybe you can carry weapons, or maybe you unlock that weapon and it is now available to pick up during a fight (maybe for extra features).

But in the video of Ajax fighting the hurricanes you can clearly see pool sticks, etc glowing in the background so I guess that means that any weapon on hand can be used, only one at a time.

I want to see 1 weapon being carried at a time, make it more real.

I doubt that there will be a shortage of weapons, after all, baseball bats and knives might be hard to find but bricks, bottles, pipes and planks of wood should be all pver the place.

Howveer I see no reason why Rockstar would do somethign as stupid as let you carry more than one weapon at a time. They're working ahrd to make the game realistic they wouldn't have GTA-style weapon carrying.

Rockstar is going by the classic Brawler Rule: One weapon at a time until it breaks.

This has been bugging me ever since this thread... you realise that in the movie noone has guns so they resort to using fists, but that's only because noone was suppose to come packed. If you think about it, that would only be true for the big night, so if your running around before it, wouldn't you have a heater of sorts? But then again to get out of realism it'd be more fun as just a brawler... I'm gonna go nuts thinking about that.

Well as far as I know. I've seen the carrying just one weapon at a time also It looks like it's for the most part just brawling around and the last thing is that you can by knives and pick up weapons in the enviroment [Pool cue]

Why would you only want them to have one weapon? a knife or a brick is small enough to fit in one pocket while holding a bat. =b. it's probly limited, kinda like manhunt. small ones in the pocket, medium on the belt, and the large one strapped to the back.

No Rockstar isn't that crazy to allow you to carry a brick in your pocket. This isn't Manhunt, it's a whole diffrent game and genre.

Too many weapons can be bad also it brings down realism. Any way i just want to fight alot. With fists but if they want to fight with weapons then there in for a surprise. Am i right warriors? :p
