.... that this game is totally unrealistic? I mean, I like it and all, but the physics are very screwy. An example is that the Warriors (and plenty other characters) jump from very high places and land on their feet, just to harmlessly walk away. Plus, melee weapons don't really break like that. 5 hits from a wrench does NOT break it in real life, unlike the game. Anyone else think this way?

yeah i do but its a game. and in the warriors if u use a machette it breaks in 2 hits 3 hits tops. but who cares if you jump off high places and dont get hurt. the only stuff that high is an apartment. if you were doing a mission and its a hard one and fell off the roof it would affect your fighting life. so that would suck.

games aren't meant to be completely realistic, it would suck if you broke your leg and had to crawl around for the rest of the game when you fall from a roof, and the weapons break because if they didn't you would go through the whole level chopping people up with a machete.

Its just like having health in a game too. If you hit someone with a wrench in real life they would probably be knocked out, and most people couldnt take like 20 shots with a rifle like in most war shotting games.

it would be really boring if you could just walk around with a machete or a crow bar the hole time. id rather punch the crap out of the enemy. plus i like it better to be like "dam i just broke that thing over his head".

Realism should not get in the way of good gameplay. If the game's no fun to play, then whats the point. They don't need to go to the toilet regularly like normal people either, and personally I don't ever need to see that happen in a game.

Ok i admit that the falling thing does suck. but lets face it. if wepons didnt break after like 5 hits that all ppl would do in a jam. I think the creators wanted you to do a little bit more then just Swing a bat or wrench around the whole game. since the fighting engine itself is after all very good.

Well if you think about, the movie was not meant to be realistic neither.  It was supposed to have that whole comic book feeling to it.  Therefor the people who made the game wanted it exactly like the movie.  Its meant to have that weird feeling to it, thats why we like it.
