It is funny to me how flash gives you energy.  My guess as to why they called it flash and not coke was to make it a bit cleaner so people (kids) might not identify with the drug.

He was surprised to find out that there was nothing illegal in the concoction. He hadn't broken any kind of law, so he didn't get in any kind of trouble. However, that was in 1985 or 1986 - today with the meth paranoia in this country, he would probably be convicted of drug distribution.

He's a lucky guy. After the massive expansion of police power to deal with the war on drugs in the 1990s, even passing off fake drugs as real would get him arrested for dealing in most of the United States. I suppose they have to get every conviction they can in order to justify beating down high schoolers' doors and shooting their dogs/grandmothers over a few joints.

Exactly. It would be counter-intuitive to get baked before a gang fight. Slow punches, lack of response time and reflexes, and generel stupidity. Would be terrible. Still, Nick Diaz apparently has a pow-wow before every fight, and he's always angry. Inside joke for MMA fans
