OK, everyone. Not to quote the usual cliche here about searching and not finding - but I did. So here is my topic -

What are some of your favorite "misheard" lyrics? These can be lyrics you actually did hear the wrong way, or you just heard someone else say.

Here are some of mine:

"Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival: "I see a bathroom on the right"
"Fly By Night" (I think) by Rush: "The chickens are coming and..???"
"Bad Medicine" by Bon Jovi: "Thoreau is like Ralph Emerson. Ralph Emerson is what I read"
"Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco: "Hot Potatoes, hot potatoes... hot potatoes"
"Hazy Shade of Winter" by The Bangles (their version, anyway): "Look around, Lisa Brown"

CCR- not as much misheard but I thought it was bad moon on the right.

Ok, I can't think of the title. It's by The Band, I think, and it's been used recently in the AT&T commericals. I love that song yet I've never understood most of the lyrics. I heard them as  "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, the buffalo wright on me!"

My work place plays a mixed bag of soft music for customers "enjoyment".  Theres an emma bunton song that sounds like she says "i'll suck you all night"

Bryan adams. I think the songs called life is an open road.  One part of the song sounds like he says "ive got head lice".  I think we sell special shampoo for that
