What are your favorite instrumental tracks? (Songs with no singing). Somtimes I think instrumental songs can be better than normal because less focus is on making a catchy chorus through vocals and more attention is given to the instruments.

Mine:

"In the house - In a heartbeat" -28 Days Later soundtrack. A truly beautiful song that begins with lone piano, then bass, then acoustic guitar, and eventually coming to a beautifully crafted hard rock finale.

"Delirium Cordia" -Fantômas. A musical masterpiece in my opinion. The soundtrack to a nightmare. A song that's an hour and 14 minutes which manages to truly frighten you if listened to int he right circumstances, and that's what it's supposed to do. I really appreciate the genius that went into forging this song. Not many could pull off this morbidly beautiful epic.

"A Warm Place" -Nine Inch Nails. A song that is relaxing and wonderful. Progressive synth that makes you feel great and happy.

"The Mark Has Been Made" -Nine Inch Nails. A slightly sinister yet intelligent song. A good mix of instruments and an overall great song due to the way the instruments play together in perfect harmony.

'De'Lalouette' by RJD2. As a matter of fact, mostly anything by RJD2, but this one in particular because of the way it switches from a rough SEGA-ish sounding beat to a soft flute solo accompanied by the finishing finger snaps, just amazing. It's nearly all samples, but it's produced so well it's ridiculous.
'Smoke & Mirrors' off the the Deadringer album is nearly undescribable too. I remember listening to this through headphones on a walk through town, and I had to sit down because the music was just...  well, I really can't say!
