Um the misfits have been around almost 30 years..... And how are the misits wannabe... if it wasnt for them half the bands around now wouldent be around. And jeez im sorry for expressing my own opinion i didnt realise i have to be a sheep like everyone else.

And i said the comment about sheep as jsut because i dont like a band everybody else in the world seems to like i get flamed for voicing my opinion i mean after all i thought that was the whole point in internet forums. If  i knew somepeople here liked them that much i woudent have said they sucked (and i admit thet do have a few good songs).

All right I'll step in as ref.  This thread is not about who sucks.  Saying someone sucks in a personal opinion.  As as you know opinions are like.....  This is about bands being overrated.  If you list a band, say why you think they are overrated...not just "they suck".

Not to get off topic but watching TV the other night (a rare occurrence), one of those trashy entertainment shows was talking about how there are not really any new bands or singers to take over as "rockers"  like Iggy Pop, Steven Tyler, Eddie Van Halen, etc., as the hotel trashing, drug busting, scandel making headliners of the past.  They did mention U2 Tantive as the biggest band in the world but said that they had too much impact with the united nations to be considered  "rockers", then they named off some stupid emos, pop princes and other crap that could do it if they weren't so pansy.  Are there really any "rockers" out there now or do we just get all these overrated machine made sweets coming out of the music biz now?

I feel that way about new music coming out.  It used to bum me out but I've discovered that I enjoy live unknown bands as much as any other if they're any good.  And when they're unknown and putting their soul into it, that comes through in the music.(And tickets are cheap )

To be honest I think Romero took a little more than he deserved. Granted, he souldn't just have said "they suck", but how many of us actually motivated our reasons for the bands we listed? I didn't. A lot of others didn't either, they just listed them.

I'm not trying to start trouble here I just think we were a bit harsh on him, that's all.
