Wargod jogged my memory with his gang logo topic, about the competitions the forum had back in the day.  Its been a few years since the last one, so we thought with all the nmembers thats joined since then, it was about time to start a fresh one.

Since gang logo's has been a recent topic, we'll stick to the same subject for this competition.

Those that participate will be randomly given the name of a gang from the list of conclave attendee's in the script and a set time limit to submit your peices.  I realise that forum members have varied artistic skill levels, so we're not just looking for how well you can draw.  Peices will also be judged on creativity of the subject name and composition. 
You can either hand draw or use a graphics program such as Microsoft Paint. clip-art style pictures are allowed as an aid, but no photo quality resolution pictures are to be intergrated. We want to keep the style simple so it would work as a 1970's era gang patch.  Think of an 8bit image to give you an idea.
Given that ive recently posted a few created gang logo's, I shall exclude myself from the practical part of this competition and be a judge (but I wont be wearing my trousers high like Simon Cowell).

Anyone thats up for this, post in this thread.  The more, the merrier.  Show us what you've got.  When we have a few candidates, then we'll get this comp up and running.

well when are we doing it

I'm going to give it till the end of the week to wait for any other participants.  Could do with at least one more to make it an even number.  If the numbers stay as they are, i'm going to skip the rounds format and just go for a 3 way battle.  Thinking of setting it as a poll so that the other members can have some sort participation.  I'll choose a winner if the poll results has a tie.

Idealy, if there were enough people, I was going to have rounds where 2 members would have the same gang to work on and each come up with their own interpretation.

Would you sooner try the same gang or each competitor have a different one?

Going to get this underway on Monday, assign you a gang and give you all a full week to complete and post (ends Monday 21st). Announce winner Friday 25th which will give enough opportunity for vote casting.

Sounds good to me. I wish there were more. Some of you new-bloods should enter. Its based on originallity also (if I am not mistaken) and it will put ya name on the boards.
