Stuck on level "The deep six" on Max Payne

I can't beat this level on Max Payne. I walk into the chamber thing and the countdown thing starts and I blow up and it restarts the level. Can someone help me or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Furies4life is right, even though its not mentioned at the start of the thread, u can ask for help there,but...
since you're here I'll give ya a hand
When you get trapped in the chamber you have to shoot one of the trip bombs that are outside through the window. This will blow the door off the hinges and allow u to escape. Hope this helps
P.s.-The shotgun works best
