What do you think is better ps3 or xbox 360?

I am planning on buying the playstation 3. This is mainly because i have always suported the playstation consoles mainly because they have better games than  other consoles. Some examples are metal gear solid searies, the gta serieas the resident evil series . What really stinks is the price though. its going to be 600 dollars and i only have 100, and i heard the ps3 has better graphics than th xbox 360. And a friend of mine told me that his xbox 360 didnt work on his third week of buying it because he played a lot and something happend to it. And the last thing i dont like about the ps3 is its design, is way to simple.

None of them, When the Nintendo Wii comes out that's what I'm buying that. I'm not going to buy the PS3 because it's too much money or the 360 because their is too many bugs. Besides the Nintendo is coming out with Mario Galaxy and a Zelda game also another Super Smash Bros.

We in the UK get shafted once again with the PS3. Not only will the console be about $100 more expensive here than in the USA, but I've heard that we don't get the option of the cheaper package. I.e. they will only be selling the most expensive version of the console here with all the bells and whistles (i.e. hard drive). The wii will be released under £200 which will help it enormously as will the unique controller (now partially stolen by Sony for the PS3 controller). However, I have always found that Nintendo have more "kid-friendly" games on their consoles - lots of cartoon action. The wii will also not be high definition or play high def movies. I'm not even sure it plays DVDs, but I could be wrong there. The XBOX360 is the established of the three consoles and has awesome graphics power and is also middle of the price range. I also think the console looks a lot nicer than the PS3.

It'll be a tough decision, but since I have no money it doesn't really matter!

PS3 for me, I have never cared for XBox, Nintendo is alright. You know what? I'll probably end up buying both.....again!!!

ps3 definately! microsoft have enough money already from computers, they don't need to bring out games consoles, stupid bill gates

I don't have a clue. I used to have a PS2 a few years back, but because me and my brother was always fighting over "who's turn it was" my parents bought us an X-BOX... but then because in our opinion it was better than the PS2 we started fighting over the X-BOX, so we traded the PS2 in and got another X-BOX.

the moral of this story is, I am a bigger fan of X-BOX. However i think the X-BOX 360 could be a-lot better. so i think i will just stick with my normal X-BOX rather than pay all that money for something i dont think is good(X-BOX 360) or something i don't like (PS3).

BUT, in about 2 years i will have to buy one or the other as normal X-BOX and PS2 games will not be made anymore (like what has happend with the PS1)

Yo WarChief we always get shafted over here in the UK, I went to China recently and I became a millionare!!  if you want cheap stuff you could probably get over there to buy a PS3 and save yourself some money while being on holiday, no bull!

Anyway whatever you buy PS3 or Xbox 360 you need a HD TV. So many idiot kids this Christmas got an X Box 360 without HD TV and couldn't understand why the graphics were'nt of a vast improvement, oh man that was tooooo funny!

But for me...Sony all the way, I have a fetish for them, all my electronics are Sony

If nintendo get the rights to release a jedi style game its gonna be magic, can you imagine truly being able to reinact duels from both trilogies of ur own accord by using the Wii's sword like controller, awesome

but of the two mentioned i think im gonna prefer the PS3 for the now (except from Halo 3 of course, that could just make the 360 better) because its gonna have a remake of Final Fantasy 7 and its gonna be awesome cos that was one of the most awesome games ever

I havent thought Wii will make turn the tables on the xbox and the ps3, but i'm very impressed with what i see, so i guess i'll get a Wii.

I'm a ps2 player for over 4 years, but sadly i see no game or feature for the ps3 that worth it overwhelming price, maybe i'll get one when the price will drop.

the ps3 will be really expensive because of the new blue ray technology. this new technology makes it possible for a cd to hold 50GB of information thats more than some computers

The price for the PS3 is ridiculous and I can't imagine how much the prices for the games will be.
However, I've always loved the games for the Playstation, the best single player games in my opinion.

The 360 is amazing, I've yet to encounter any problems with it, I suppose people just overexaggerate with the problems.

As for the Wii, come on, the Mario Party series will continue and those are the best multiplayer games ever. Though, I can't imagine playing any game with a controller like that.

There's really no answer to the question if all we've heard are nothing but rumors, some may be true and may not. We just gotta wait 'till the PS3 and Wii come out.

i wont be getting the wii, nintendo games get so boring sometimes. how many mario games are there? whats the name of the latest, super mario 978543? but some of the other nintendo games are good

i was thinking about getting an xbox 360, but one day i was at my cousins house we was playing madden. i was about to pwn him and have a biscuit until the disk actually melted inside the console  so im thinking about getting myself a ps3. and i might get the xb360 cuz by  the time ps3 comes out new shipments of 360's may come out and the price will be way lower than what it is now.
