i dont see what the big deal about shevchenko is.... dont get me wrong, hes a good player but hes not that good... he is still better than Chelsea's current strikers so yea Chelsea will be better (along with Ballack)

You do right then turnbull I cant stand them. I only like Fat lamps Terry Cole and Makalela. (i know lampard isn't chubby no more but still call him it) The fact that they nedd to by the cup jmakes me grind ginger and how mch of a p**k mjose is makes me even more angrier. Shevchenko has done nothing at the world cup and i don't think he can be worth half of that fee. Chelsea should've gone for torres or toni, two much better and younger players. Abromovich isn't bothered tho. He's got more money then sense. I don't know how they got 8 mil for Gudjonnson either.

Sorry bro, but, Shev is a world class player and any player would struggle to look good in the Ukraine team.

I agree that he's a great player but 30 mil for a 30 year old seems overpriced when there are other younger players out there. It seems that when chelsea get out the cheque book teams add a couple of noughts to the fee. It will be interesting to see how he lives up to the hype. Other class players have been rubbish in the premiership. Crespo was a better player for ac milan than he ever was at chelsea. Anyway i'm just bitter cos leeds have another miserable championship season ahead, rubbish.
