Favorite and worst wrestling gimmicks

Ive noticed theres a lot of wrestling fans on here.  Weve had threads about best match and favorite wrestler. What is your favorite and most hated gimmicks from any federation and any period?

Heres some of my most hated...
Duke the dumpster drose.  The garbage collector gimmick wasnt vinces best idea.
Sparky plug.  This was hardcore holly as a racing car driver.
Oz.  Kevin nash in a rubber mask and cloak, pretending to be the wizard of oz.
The maestro.  Classical piano and wrestling just dont mix
The red rooster.  Terry taylor and curt hennig started at wwf on the same week.  Terry was considered for the mr perfect gimmick, but lost out to curt.

A few of my favorites are keiji mutoh as the great muta
Rodney anoi as yokozuna
Ted dibiase as the million dollar man.  Possibly the best heel in the buisiness.

interesting topic
-I guess I liked Roddy Pipers whole Scottish gimmick.  The only man who can were a kilt and still be a bad ass.
-I didn't like how Steve Austin had that Ring Master image, but I am glad he chose to show his true self and become Stone Cold Steve Austin
-I also didn't like that whole tribal Samoan look the rock had when he was just Rocky Mavia.  It was better when he also showed his true self and had that whole heel Miami Image, and became The Rock.
-There was an old tag team called the Graduates, I mean lots of people graduate, its not that fascinating.
-I like Jimmy Snucka and Ultimate Warriors image, because they both made no sense when they talked, and it sounded cool.

Well theres so much more likes and dislikes, does anyone else have any.

Best : Have many favorites but i used to like the Earthquake & Tugboat gimmicks a lot and The Rocks just brilliant as well.

Worst : I'd say the The Oddities(outcasts) & Rico(gay manager) gimmicks.

More bad gimmicks.... Yoshi qwan. he was the white guy dessed as fu-manchu

The ding dongs.  an annoying tag team that came to the ring ringing hand bells.

Was Roddy Piper a true scotsman (in that he went commando... and that he wasn't actually Scottish)? No. Therefore by my calculations, there is at least 3 million men in the world who would contest the fact that Rowdy Roddy Piper is "The only man who can were a kilt and still be a bad ass."

anyways...

Billy Gunn and his whole "Assman" image was just too funny at times.

The one I really didn't like was the whole 'taker/rocker image. He just wasn't as cool. I've got nothing else to say on the matter

My FAVORITE is Deuce and Domino's 50s gimmick. I was there when it all began in OVW. I had even told Deuce about the greaser movie Deuces Wild which was the name of his finisher.

My most hated is DEFINITELY Eugene. Nick Dinsmore is one of the most talented technical guys on the roster and his ability is very underutilized with that gimmick.

Look Journey, I just simply thought Rowdy Piper was an American born, with a Scottish back ground.  Please don't kill the messanger, get mad at him for saying that catch phrase.  I am not hear to disrespect anybodys culture, because I have the utmost respect for all of them.  I hope we are cool.  After all I am Arab, and look at the stereotyping of being a terrorist I have to put up with.

Sorry dude, i actually didn't mean to sound angry I was just attempting to state that he isn't the only person who looks like a badass in a kilt. But it doesn't really matter. And also he could have a Scottish background, I don't know for sure.

Roddy piper was born in canada and is classed as a canadian citizen.  i think one of his parents is part scottish.  im not sure on that.

Big van vader was a good gimmick for the time.  Jim hellwig (ultimate warrior) was one of the original candidates for the vader charector with the steam helmet.

Rowdy Roddy Piper has to be one of the best with gimmicks, especially with pipers pit now that was crazy, I think his gimmick was crazy and proud of it.

another one of my faves was hulk hogan who then became HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN, the whole hulkamania gimmick was great but my least favourite gimmick has to be....

The n.W.o gimmick, all black and white, doom and gloom, they were great wrestlers and had a goal, but there gimmick was a 3 out of 10.
